We already knew this
The Washington Times decided to tell us something we already knew yesterday. The headline: Right underrepresented in press's diversity.
The first sentence in the "news" story told us exactly what conservatives have been complaining about for what seems like forever. "Conservatives remain scarce in the news media landscape." Apparently only 6 percent of the national press corps describe themselves as conservative.
So, now what? For the second time in four years a survey has been done of the press and the findings were about the same; the press is way more liberal than conservative. Maybe, just maybe, news organizations might do something about it. Perhaps they could make their reporters actually report rather than editorialize.
Time will tell.
