Obama's newest supporter

It appears Barrack Obama has another high profile supporter, Louis Farrakhan.

Mr. Farrakhan was speaking at the annual Saviour's Day celebration when he praised Obama saying, "This young man is the hope of the entire world that America will change and be made better."

How exactly will America change under an Obama presidency? Maybe cutting and running from Iraq. That's a change but certainly would not make America better.

Farrakhan also told the crowd during his speech that, "A black man with a white mother could turn out to be one who can lift America from her fall."

What fall? This is America, the greatest nation on earth. Millions risk their lives to illegally cross our borders to live here. How bad a fall can we be in if so many want to be here? The fact is there is no fall. Not unless you're a radical supporting a guy with no substance for the office of President of the United States.

Of course we have to wonder exactly how Obama feels about having Farrakhan in his corner. We heard from an Obama campaign spokesman, Bill Burton, who said, "Senator Obama has been clear in his objections to Minister Farrakhan's past pronouncements and has not solicited the minister's support." That's great, we know the "official" campaign line but we want to know from the candidate how he feels about the support of this divisive man.
