Since we received a comment calling Obama "the man" we decided today's post would be about the man.

The fact is Obama used drugs in high school and college, meaning into his early 20s, not just teenage stupidity. He admits his drug use in his own memoirs. He also wrote in those memoirs, "We were always playing on the white man's court . . . by the white man's rules." Then on the issue continued, "the principal, or the coach, or a teacher . . . wanted to spit in your face, he could, because he had the power and you didn't. . . . The only thing you could choose was withdrawal into a smaller and smaller coil of rage. And the final irony: should you refuse this defeat and lash out at your captors . . . they would have a name for that too. Paranoid. Militant."

Read that passage from Obama's own memoirs and then ask yourself if he thinks he is still playing on the white man's court. Ask yourself if he ever got out of that "coil of rage."

Simply put, if a white guy who grew up on Chicago's South Side or in North Philadelphia said these things about minorities that white guy would be painted as a racist. Why is it okay for Obama to say these things.

Then there are the drugs. Even Bill Clinton knew American voters have a problem with a potential president doing drugs in their past. That's why he made certain to say he didn't inhale. Not Obama. He embraces the fact that he inhaled and apparently snorted given that he wrote, "I got high [to] push questions of who I was out of my mind." We hope he answered those questions.

This guy even went so far as to write, "Pot had helped, and booze; maybe a little blow when you could afford it. Not smack, though."

He was a pot smoking, booze hound who happened to like a little coke and now he wants to be our president. Hold him to the same standard that a white male candidate is held to and then maybe, just maybe, we will write something nice about him.
