Pretty much everybody and their mother is reporting about Fred Thompson and his drug dealing felon of a friend and fundraiser. Unfortunately for Fred ABC News is reporting:

The former drug-dealing bookie friend of GOP presidential candidate Fred Thompson, who serves in a key fundraising role, has another issue to explain to his longtime friend: why he and his former companies have a record of unpaid taxes.

So, Fred the conservative, and we use that term loosely, hangs out with dudes who have dealt drugs, been bookies, don't pay their taxes and in general break the law, and he wants to be our conservative president.

We say, get the hell outta here Fred. Go back to TV, but you may have to wait until the writers get back from their strike.
