Craig is still not gay and mad at Romney

Idaho Senator Larry Craig went on NBC with Matt Laurer last night to say he isn't gay, apparently didn't know gays look for sex in public restrooms, and that Mitt Romney threw him under the bus.

The interview went on and on. Craig saying he isn't gay and very in love with his wife.

Then the interview turned to Mitt Romney. Craig was Senate liaison for Romney's campaign. Of course Craig left the position when his gay scandal became public knowledge.

We think it's good Romney called Craig's conduct "disappointing and disgraceful" and immediately dropped Craig when the guilty plea became known. While we think it is good Romney dumped Craig we still have to ask if Craig ever told Romney about the incident prior to the guilty plea becoming public knowledge. Let's face it, this is politics, big league politics at that, and something like getting busted looking for homosexual sex is something that was probably brought to someone in the Romney campaign's attention prior to the whole thing becoming public knowledge.
